Development of Full Composite Propulsion System for UAV is Taking Off
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) often need propulsion systems, which allow them to reach cruising altitude before the automatic pilot system is activated. In these cases, low weight is the fundamental prerequisite for successful launches.
In this project, the design, prototyping, and testing phases of an innovative propulsion system for a UAV are illustrated.
The system is produced entirely of composite materials. It is composed of storage vessels for the oxidizing fluid, as well as a booster. This allows the occurrence of the combustion and subsequently the generation of propulsion for the UAV.
The propulsion system developed in this project is composed of two 16-liter vessels. It is equipped for the storage of oxidizing gas, and a booster, where a convergent-divergent nozzle is located.
Feel free to contact us by simply completing the form below and we will send you the full REPORT for free.
